In alignment with our holistic and people-centered Smart City model, Anteverti undertook a project that converged innovation, sports, and infrastructure to craft an exclusive Smart Stadium model for one of the world’s premier sports clubs – FC Barcelona.
By harnessing cutting-edge ICT solutions and our own expertise, we aimed to enhance both FC Barcelona’s management efficiency and the fan experience during matches at Europe’s largest sports arena, boasting a capacity of nearly 100,000 spectators.

We initiated the process by deeply exploring FC Barcelona’s stadium’s digital potential and requirements. We thoroughly assessed their capabilities, evaluated technological readiness, and formulated a Smart Stadium blueprint. Our approach involved identifying specific action zones, drawing insights from global benchmarks, and conceiving around 50 dynamic initiatives and nearly 200 services for implementation.
Our role also extended to strategically aligning these initiatives with FC Barcelona’s 2015-2021 Strategic Plan, ensuring seamless integration. Leveraging the established model and vision, FC Barcelona spearheaded the realization of the Smart Stadium Strategy.
To accompany this strategic leap, we further assisted FC Barcelona in identifying opportunities to establish itself as a leading institution and a reference in the realm of sports innovation. This included publicly unveiling its new strategy in global sports forums and reaching specialized audiences.
The collaboration between Anteverti and FC Barcelona resulted in a Smart Stadium model for their venue, Camp Nou, fusing Smart City innovation with disruptive tech trends to drive transformation:
