Barcelona
Deep Tech
Summit
Shaping a global event for
tomorrow's technologies
We worked with Barcelona to create a global event that positions the city at the forefront of technological innovation, establishing it as the future epicenter of the Deep Tech industries.

The challenge
We helped shape the 2024 Barcelona Deep Tech Summit, uniting over 2,500 innovators to explore the future of technology. With 74 expert speakers and 47 groundbreaking startups, the summit showcased cutting-edge solutions in Energy, Sustainability, Industry 4.0, Digital Health and Space Tech.

Our approach
We dove deep into the rapidly evolving Deep Tech landscape, mapping out cutting-edge trends, breakthrough innovations, and the most disruptive players. From game-changing startups to world-renowned researchers and visionary thought leaders, our curatorial team pinpointed the key industries and pioneers shaping the future of technology.
With science and knowledge transfer as central pillars—both critical priorities for the City of Barcelona, the event’s organizer through its economic development agency—we curated an exciting program that brought together a powerful mix of local and international experts. Our goal? To create a vibrant platform where the Deep Tech community could connect, discover new opportunities, and build the momentum needed to accelerate the industry’s growth.
Guided by this vision, we helped Barcelona define the four cutting-edge thematic tracks for the summit: Energy & Sustainability, Industry 4.0 & Mobility, Digital Health, and Space Tech.

The impact
To maximize its visibility and impact, the 2024 Barcelona Deep Tech Summit was held alongside the renowned Smart City Expo World Congress — an event we’re also proud to curate at Anteverti. Over 2,500 attendees from around the globe converged to experience the cutting-edge of deep tech. With 74 expert speakers and 47 leading startups showcasing breakthrough solutions, the summit was a true celebration of innovation and vision.
Trailblazers like Laura Anne Edwards, NASA Datanaut; Cristian Canton, Head of Responsible AI at Meta; Cristina Escoda, Co-founder of Tachyon Ventures; and Francesco Perticarari, General Partner at Silicon Roundabout Ventures, captivated audiences with their insights and forward-thinking perspectives.
This remarkable event not only spotlighted the transformative power of deep tech but also firmly established Barcelona as a global epicenter for innovation and collaboration.
