Cristina Garrido has over 15 years of experience with international city governments, companies and organizations. Her expertise focuses on how innovation can be a tool for improving the sustainable strategic development of cities and other ecosystems.
She has written for several publications and is a former Associate Lecturer at Open University of Catalonia (UOC). Cristina holds an MA in Urban Sociology, a BA in Visual Arts & Cultural Studies. She also has a Diploma from Stanford Graduate School for Business, for the Ignite Program for Business Innovation, 2017.
She is Director of Innovation and Strategic Development at anteverti, where she advises cities and private companies to develop their innovation and strategic plans. She is also Congress Manager of the events related to the Smart City Expo World Congress, organized abroad, and directs the blog Cities To Be.
