Cristina Garrido has over 15 years of experience working with international city governments, companies and organizations. With a background in arts & urban studies, her expertise focuses on how innovation can be a tool for improvement, sustainability & strategic development.
Since 2013, she works in anteverti, advising cities and private companies to develop their innovation & strategic plans. She is also manages the international congresses related to Smart City Expo World Congress, and directs the blog Cities To Be.
She has written for several publications and, up until 2017, was an Associate Lecturer at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). She holds an MA in Urban Sociology; a BA in Visual Arts & Cultural Studies, and has also a Diploma from the Stanford Graduate School for Business, for the Ignite Program for Business Innovation, 2017.
