Teresa studied Translation and Interpreting at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona) and pursued her postgraduate studies in Global Affairs at New York University (United States) and Institut Barcelona de Estudis Internacionals (Barcelona). She has collaborated at the Department of Political Affairs of the Consulate General of Mexico in New York and at the independent global media platform OpenDemocracy. She has participated in international projects in different places around the world such as Scotland, Mexico, United States and Spain. Formerly a translator and proofreader, she speaks Catalan, Spanish, English and French, which has made her experience languages not only from a purely linguistic and academic perspective, but also from a social and cultural one.
