Pilar Conesa is a Smart City pioneer and an advocate of innovation in the successful transformation of organizations and businesses. She has over 20 years of experience in public administrations and private companies. She is the Founder and CEO of anteverti and is also the Smart City Expo World Congress Curator. Pilar is former CIO of the Barcelona City Council. She has also held numerous executive positions, such as the General Manager of the Public and Health Sector at T-Systems Deutsche Telekom Group; Operations Director of IT services in the Catalan Government, CEO of AIS Chile and part of the management team at the Barcelona '92 Olympic Games. Currently, she is also President of the Advisory Board of the Professional Association of Computer Engineering of Catalonia, member of the Board of Directors at UPC Alumni, and member of the Advisory Board of the ODEE, Business & Economy Women Observatory from the Chamber of Commerce of Barcelona.
